About Mike’s Salsa

Mike’s Salsa started the same way many great traditions do—around a table with family and friends.

For more than 20 years, Mike’s homemade salsa has been a staple at Chiefs games, summer barbecues, graduation parties, birthday celebrations, and long lake days. It was the bowl that always emptied first. Friends would ask for the recipe, family members would request it at every gathering, and it slowly became one of those things that people simply expected to see whenever everyone got together.

Eventually, Mike’s daughter Olivia decided it was time to share it beyond family and friends.

While keeping the same flavor everyone loved, Olivia helped bring the recipe to market with a fresh approach to the ingredients. The goal was simple: keep the salsa that had been bringing people together for years, but make it with ingredients people could feel even better about eating.

That meant no seed oils, no added sugar, and no chemicals or preservatives—just simple, real ingredients. Whenever possible, we use organic ingredients and locally sourced produce to keep every jar fresh, honest, and full of flavor.

Today, Mike’s Salsa still carries the same bold flavor that has fueled two decades of gatherings—now made with a little extra care behind every jar.

Because at the end of the day, Mike’s Salsa isn’t just about the salsa.

It’s about game days, backyard barbecues, lake weekends, and the moments that bring people together.
